1 JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME

In December 2023, Row + Ripple will be rowing across the Atlantic in the Talisker Whisky Challenge. One of only 25 boats, the team will be racing 3000 miles from the Canary Islands to Antigua for mental health charities.

As a completely unassisted race, their only contact with the outside world is through a satellite phone and everything they need for up to two months at sea will be carried in the boat.

Surviving off a diet of dehydrated food and desalinated sea water, they will be responsible for maintenance, navigation and whatever challenges the ocean throws their way. Each rower will take turns doing 2 hour shifts for a minimum of 12 hours a day and never sleeping more than 2 hours at a time.

From 60ft waves and crippling sea-sickness to Marlin strikes, this is the ultimate challenge of both physical and mental endurance.
